Whiteley House is registered with The Care Quality Commission and has been awarded an Excellent rating, which is the highest accolade possible.
We hold the Investors in People Quality Award, as well as the Gold Standard Framework accreditation for end of life care.
Whiteley House is integrated within the Whiteley Village which is a 100 year old retirement village. The grade 2 listed building has been adapted as a care setting ,whilst still retaining its character. This gives it a very homely feel.
Residents are able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and be a part of village life in a friendly and caring community.
Our highly trained nurses and care staff meet the individual care needs and choices of our residents from residential care, through to nursing, palliative and end of life care, in a safe and peaceful environment. We work closely with other professionals such as our General Practitioners and the local Hospices.
We also offer respite care to give carers a break and also care for those who have been in hospital who may need extra time to recuperate before returning home
The care team promotes person centred care, enhancing independence, choice, dignity and privacy to enable residents to live a fulfilling life.
Family and friends are able to visit at any time, to be involved with formulating individual care plans and to enjoy the facilities of the village as well.
We care for residents who are self-funding in paying for their care needs, as well those funded by Social Services and Continuing Health Funding.
